Buying WoW Gold for the Beginner
28th December 2008
Hi everyone,
it’s been a while since I posted, too busy stuffing my face with several Christmas feasts and then trying to burn some of that off with my new Wii
Ah, I love the holidays. Anyway I thought this week I would run down the actual process of buying gold and how it works, for those of you stumbling on the site looking for guidance.
The very first thing you need to do is decide on how much gold you want to buy, then do some comparison shopping at the various sites. Gold prices do vary like any commodity, and will even be different from server to server depending on each server’s unique economy. (One site you might check for starters is Mogs.com, we have used them before and been happy with delivery time and pricing.)
When you’ve found a supplier that you think you can trust, you will select your server, and the amount of gold. You will be asked for your credit card and WoW account information, so make sure it’s a secure site. Depending on the site, you might need to talk to a real person on the phone to confirm.
This is where the magic happens. After a variable wait (depending on the site you chose, and also the amount you’re dealing with—usually between 5 and 30 minutes, but up to 48 hours in some cases) you can sign in and go to your mailbox. There’s your gold!
Pretty easy huh? So get out there and buy WoW gold like there’s no tomorrow! Heh, just kidding, be careful and shop around :) Till next week….
Sick of trying to find a company to buy wow gold from?
5th November 2008
Hello folks!
I finally did it; I got off my wow playing butt and started a blog…about wow.. haha
So lets get right to it - I’m a wow player; I buy mounts, gear, I do raids; whatever. I’m constantly needing wow gold; and with the current price of wow gold, right now hovering at about 22$ per 1000, who can afford not to drop 20 or so dollars on 1000 wow gold; not I says the ogre, not I. But of course with a lot more grunting and some drool.
Anyway before I get too side-tracked. The fact is its almost a pain in the ass to go out and give some of these companies your money. Really; you and I are out paying for a product; offering them our cold our green dollars (blue euros i think? oh who gives a fuck this isn’t wow eu) to give us a product; and if you’ve had HALF the trouble I have you know that sometimes they treat you bad, don’t delivery, and have cs that you can’t even TALK to!
It’s more and more an industry standard that “Hey; we’ll take your cash and then give you the bird!” - Which to me is outlandish.
So getting back to the purpose of this website is I’m going to rate, review, and classify some of the websites I’ve bought from in the past, and as I spend about 20 a week anyway I’ll do the same for websites in the future, and display those results along with the pricing for those companies here. Expect some pretty cool charts, graphics etc. It’ll be good practice for me anyway (Going to graphic design school here in about 8 months).
Some of the major points I want to focus on when I buy wow gold will be:
1. delivery time
2. customer service, can you understand them, are they friendly etc.
3. Cost - obviously a big one
4. safety and reliability - will my gold get pulled back, will they scam me; etc.
I’m hoping these hit home on a real personal level; if there’s anything else you guys would want to see shoot me a link at the contact button to the right.
I’ll have something up by the weekend! Thanks guys!
